Day 190 Stop and Look 365

This is the Ruins of Santiago Apostol (St James Apostle). It’s in the city Cartago, Costa Rica. It was built in 1870 and completed 1910. We’ll not, really. There were several earthquakes at the site, so it was never completed. Eventually, it was made into this lovely park that has become a National Historic Site of Costa Rica. I love that you can find beauty in everything. You just need to see with your heart, not your mind.

  1. WOW!!! How lovely!!! Even though these are ruins, they have a certain respect and reverence about them. The park is very pretty and looks very peaceful, calm, and serene. This certainly is a great place to pray and meditate on the goodness of God. The yard and hedges are so beautiful and manicured to perfection. Thank you for sharing.
