COME SIT IN MY YARD

I love sitting in my yard  on this glider. I found it at a thrift store. I paid $25. It was a bit rusty and needed some oiling. Hubby helped with its restoration.  which didn’t need a lot. I found this same glider later in the season at a high-end thrift shop for $350.
Now, it’s my favorite place to sit and watch the birds and the trees. Over the years, I have spent time making my outdoor space into a place for relaxing, meditating, entertaining, or just playing around. It still needs a lot of care. This will continue due to new growth, weeds, and storms. But, it is a place where I can go and sit and reflect on my blessings for having this spot. This beauty is right outside my door. I made this little sanctuary fit for me.  Maybe it’s time you make your own sanctuary. Don’t let a lack of space, funds, skills, or time stop you. If you need ideas, I can help.
