Discover Statues

Here is another “Staycation Idea:”  try to visit all the statues of famous people in your area. Discover why they merit a statue. It is also fun to learn about the sculptor. I have explored statues all over the world. There is a statue of George Washington in England and since he said he would never touch British soil, so they place his statue on soil brought from America. Not sure if that is true, but it is interesting.  If you enjoy history like me, finding statues is very fascinating. How many of these can you identify?
