“Be prepared to be uncomfortable.” In case you missed it, I am going on a mission trip in a few weeks. This is what the leader of the trip keeps emphasizing. But what does that really mean? Some people love crawly things, I do not. They can make me uncomfortable. However, I do have the ability to overcome some things that make me uncomfortable. For weeks, I have been trying to come up with a Mother’s Day craft to teach kids, with my limited Spanish speaking abilities. This was really uncomfortable. But I have a few ideas now, like this bouquet of buttons. I am learning to embrace the unknown with excitement, not fear. Only focus on what I can do and welcome the new and exciting changes that await me. If any of my sewing friends want to donate some buttons, message me. Your takeaway, don’t pass on changes because you fear the unknown.
