I think covered bridges are so romantic looking. Actually, they provide a wonderful backdrop for picnics. They can be found near babbling streams. They are also in areas where there is very little noise. It’s peaceful. Riding through them, looking at the beams and construction is very fascinating. There is a lot of history in those beams. You can feel it. If you have never seen a covered bridge up close, I strongly recommend you find one. Don’t forget to take a picnic and your favorite traveling partner. You will not be disappointed.
