Day 160 Stop and Look 365

Day 160 Stop and Look 365

Which picture did you notice first, the one in color or the black and white one?  French-American born photographer Elliott Erwitt once said, “Color is descriptive, black and white is interpretive.”  So think when you see the color photo your imagination stops. Which is not bad. In some cases, seeing all the colors of flowers, landscapes, and sky can be very beautiful. But if there is no color, you get to decide the colors of the image you want in your mind. You choose the mood you want to set in the photo. Next time you take a photo, play with the settings and remove the color. See which one makes you feel creative or spark your imagination.
