Day 117 Stop and Look 365

These are the original 1861 pillars from the U.S. Capital. They were removed in 1958 for the capital extension. In 1990, Friends of the National Arboretum Garden member Russell Page made a place for 24 of them at the Arboretum. They “Look” beautiful and make perfect place for photos.This is true repurposing. The National Arboretum should be added to your summer trip destinations. It is also free.
