I enjoy gardening. Especially container gardening. There is nothing better than walking out your door and picking your veggies. Now we have a large garden but I’m getting older so I wanted something I could manage on my own. Lettuce is one of the easiest things to grow in a container. Cucumbers, tomatoes, beans and strawberries also do well. Growing your own herbs saves money. It doesn’t require a large investment either. A flower pot or bucket, some good potting soil and your plant. When you garden, you also get a sense of accomplishment. You grow, pick and eat. A few minutes a day but a summer full of joy. Try one thing.You will be a believer in no time. Oh, did I mention small spaces and balconies work well too.
