Peeps Now Action Figures

You know these. They
appear on Easter and other holidays. They are called Peeps.  These marshmallow confections, made of sugar, corn syrup. gelatin and food dyes are hit too many, but they also make fun action figures.  They are made by the Just Born Inc., which was founded by Sam Born, a Russian immigrant (from Ukraine) in 1917. He called his company “Just Born” because he made his marshmallow treats daily. The peep phenomenon has now made them a staple for all holidays. There are even contests that encourage participants to create scenes using the peeps as the focal point. The shop owners in Occoquan, Virginia, hosted a contest. For the next few days, I will share these entries with you. Maybe it will give you some ideas for next year.
