I created this journal from old projects that weren’t completed. The cover was from a piece of felt I was trying to learn how to embroider. The trim I used was found in my trim stash, which I will discuss in another post. I will say, always save trim. I even found the journal around the house, but it was so plain. Cutting and gluing, I’m creating. I decided to not only write my thoughts in my masterpiece, but save comics and other items that reflected our journey over the past few years. I have written my thoughts, but I really enjoy laughing at other people’s interpretations of the events. Being born in the sixties, I lived through what I thought were desperate times. I was surprised when I realized I hadn’t seen it all. So, my pretty (to me) journal welcomes me to document the good and bad of these times. If you CREATE a journal like this, you will never forget what you survived. Go try it.
